Ingredients in Manjistha
The principle constituents are anthraquinones, naphthoquinones and their glycosides, saccharides, and carboxylic acids. The roots contain a mixture of purpurin, munjistin, small amounts of xantopurpurin and pseudo purpurin, known to be responsible for its health benefits.
